DO

1. Do treat all players with respect.

2. Do make friends and welcome newbies.

3. Do feel free to post, comment, ask questions and offer strategy tips.

4. Do answer questions if you know the answer or help to find resources.

5. Do make constructive criticism, suggest other players how to improve their game in a respectful manner.

6. Do be clear about your custom rules before playing a game and respect other players playing styles, for example: beside the default rule of treaty or supremacy, if you want no op, no running, only head up fight, no warship, no fishing boat, half map villager, half map army, half map fishing, no treasure stealing etc you should mention it in the room title and explain it to all players in room as well as get them to agree to it before launching the game. This is to avoid later confusion and argument over the rules.

7. Do understand that all players have different native languages, personalities, culture background...Please be patient and forgiving in case of misunderstanding and request help from our clan admins to resolve conflict if needed.

DO NOT

1. Do not flame or attack other players. Discussion and heated debates are fine; name calling, personal attacks, noob bashing and trolling are not.

2. Do not rage about lame civ, lame strategy, map unbalance, blame your teammate, insult your opponent or proclaim that you lost because of random reasons.

3. Do not use offensive or derogatory comments, including those of a racial, religious, or sexual nature.

4. Do not discuss controversial topics, such as religion or politics.

5. Do not overuse profanity.

6. Do not send/post malicious links or inappropriate content [virus, trojan, scam...].

7. Do not use cheat or hack.

8. Do not return insult with insult, it will make you look as bad as the original offender.

 

 

Your action as an .::X::. member should always reflect our clan's spirit of RESPECT and HAVE FUN.

Violation of clan rules should be reported in clan group .::X::.Official, by screenshots, video, recorded games or witnesses' account, clan admins will take the report and keep a copy in Admin group for reference/investigation:

 

1. Clan admins will verify the proof and contact the people involved to identify the offense.

2. Clan admins will issue warnings for minor offense (up to 3 times).

3. 3 times of minor offense equals to 1 medium offense.

4. Clan admins will create a probation period for the offender of medium offense (1 week minimum).

5. If the offender is sorry for their mistake and willing to take certain measures to redeem themself through contribution to clan, their probation can be shortened/ended.

6. If the offender still continues their violation streak and shows now remorse, they will be removed from clan.

7. Clan admins reserve the rights to remove any posts on clan wall/page that don't follow .::X::. rules and code of honor.

8. Clan admins and clan leader will take appropriate action necessary in each specific case. Removal of clan members will be seriously considered through discussion/voting in admin group and approval of clan leader.
