On most of the maps in Age of Empires III, you would find some vacant Native Trading Posts that you can ally with.

After building the Native Post, you can train Native units and upgrade Native Technologies.

Native units don't take up your population and most of the time, only cost Food and Wood. They can compliment your military beautifully in some situations (especially when you lack a specific unit types in your army due to civilization limit or Age limit).

Native technologies can benefit you both economically and militarily. On the list below, you can find every natives in Age of Empires III [includings the expansions The War Chief and The Asian Dynasties] with their residential maps, unit types and useful technologies. The order is alphabetical. Use Ctrl + F to find a specific type faster.
